I don't like to visit the cemetery because it reminds me of where I could be
Out of sight but not out of mind, no disrespect it's just my philosophy

I search the grounds for your designated space
I find the headstone and stand to the side because somehow I feel that I would be standing on your face

I'll give you an update and appear to be talking to myself
Shed a tear or two. Can you experience the emotions that I just felt?

Your stay here was too short for I my friend, I keep thinking of the things that we should have done
There was so much unfinished business. Who knew that your time here would expire at age 31?

Date: 8/7/2020 9:52:00 PM From Authorid: 16131 I don't do cemeteries either. Nothing but demons playing your emotions in those. No one is in the boxes, they are all just husks some person / soul left behind. In the afterlife, emotions are felt in a much different way because of the absence of possibility, time, pain and ect. I also get paranoid about like what if I am standing on their face or parts no one should ever be standing on and that is even with knowing everything that I know LOL. You are talking to yourself and whatever prying listener may be present because people in Heaven no longer have to worry about the BS around here anymore and those in the other place are a little too busy to care. I have lost a lot of friends in my life as well due to illnesses or their lifestyles or even accidents and you never really get used to it. There are friends I would love to reconnect with that I won't even look for because it seems like when I do, I find another one has past away.
I would tell you to buck up or feel better or some other encouraging thing but you don't get over it, you just go on.
