I look at my feet and my socks are inside out
I'll just cover it with my shoes as the teapot whistles loudly from it's spout!
I walk downstairs with one eye open
The baby is crying and won't stop sulking!
Outside the cold air bites at my face
As my dog scurries around the bushes to find his favorite place
I grab my keys and wallet too
And some spare change for the daily news
I return to you for a hug and at least one goodbye kiss
