I was there when the sun became darkness.
And the clouds disappeared into space.
The rain stopped falling forever.
At the south pole ships sailed into the earth and decayed.

The Beasts all beat on the door.
Imperfect in everyone's sites.
They bid their goodbyes in a mud slide.
Like the turmoil tearing away inside.

Rivers flow and carry their fortunes.
A rainbow leads you no where at all.
It has been all to cold in this summer.
Maybe in winter my heart will thaw.

I spent some time somewhere timeless.
I've forgotten what I am too old to recall.
Boundaries are set but never observed.
With strange voices booming down the hall.

My enemy is the one closest to me.
Filled with anger, evil and spite.
I think I could cry if my tears would not freeze.
As that theif steals all of the joy from my life.
