I'd like to buy you a pair of wings.
So you could keep up as I laugh and sing.
My spirit is on fire against every odd.
I'm straightening my crown, I'm a son of God.
My heart belongs to Jesus, he is in control.
Raining living waters he used to clean my soul.
That's all of the faith I need to get me through the night.
I know I'm still a sinner who more times wrong than right.
There's a new world coming, there's gonna be a brand new day.
His children will be moved to Heaven and that is where we'll stay.
For now you must know there is still much to do.
He's keeping the promise to come back for me and you.

I would like to tell you the hour and day.
I just know he's coming back and he's gonna wipe the slate.
So just put your faith in God, it really can't hurt.
He'll make sure we get everythig we deserve
