My last post on my hauntings had been a few years and houses ago! But here we are, and why not share??
I have always been followed, always had something extra hanging around. I joke with my husband a lot about it, because he doesn't like anything he can't see or fight if needed...I tell him every time that he knew before we were ever married the first time so no complaining lol. We are currently renting a house that has some quirks, but like always it took a few months for them to start.
Noises at night, those cabinet door noises or the sound of walking. I get up, check the kids, check the cat, and find nothing at all wrong. The cat finds all kinds of things to freak out about, usually during the day when the kids are at school and my husband is at work.
The thing that really got me thinking about pulling out my ancient laptop and posting, happened night before last. It was late, or early if you think about it around 3am or so, my husband was finally asleep, my boys asleep for hours and the cat was laying by my feet on the bed. I had been reading on my phone, trying to get sleepy enough to actually sleep (I have a sleeping issue), suddenly it sounded like everything on my dinning room table had been swept to the floor. My husband and kids could literally sleep through a tornado, so it didn't surprise me that they didn't jump up. Although my husband did flinch, and the cat jumped. I got up and made my way through the house into the dinning room to find exactly what I thought I would find, absolutely nothing out of place. Walked through the whole house, checked doors and windows, checked kids again, and nothing out of place at all. So I went back to bed, finally got to sleep and figured the next morning everything would be normal for a while. That's how it usually happens. The next day, however, once I was home with just me and the cat, the doors to my bathroom started rattling and it almost sounded like someone came in through the front door. That door I keep one of those Halloween door hangers on though, so every time the door opens the bells ring, and no bells had rung. As crazy as it sounds, I just laid down and took a nap. I didn't even get up to check! See I sleep while everyone is gone to work and school because the hours my husband works I'm up late with him nearly every night listening to how his day went or watching a movie. So I guess it was a case of "you aren't disrupting my nap" lol.
We are currently looking to move by May, my oldest son is coming home to live and we need a bigger place! So it makes me wonder if these things will continue to follow as they have for nearly 40 years, or if they will get tired of all the moving?
Nothing really scary to me, just thought I might share.
