Quirky Lost Lady Gave Me $20 After I'd Had $20 Stolen From Me

I was coming out of a building I'd had an appointment in one day back in 2002 when a woman pulled up beside me in a white car. She was lost, so she asked me where the clinic was, because she didn't want to be late for her appointment there. I had been a little frustrated earlier that day, because an acquaintance of mine, who had been at my house, had stolen $20 out of my wallet before I'd left home, and had lied about it. So, as I was about to walk to the bus stop to catch the next bus home, that's when the lost lady asked me to show her where the clinic was, which was only about 2-3 minutes away. I pointed her over to the direction it was in, but she still seemed a little confused, so she asked me if I would ride over there with her.

I'm not in the habit of jumping in cars with strangers, but I got in and directed her to the building. When we got there, I got out and helped her find the front desk so she could check in for her appointment. She told me that she wanted to pay me for helping her, so she gave me the keys to her car and told me to go get her purse out of it. I wondered why she would trust a stranger with her keys and her purse, but I got her purse out of the car and took it to her. Then, she reached inside and gave me $20 and told me that instead of taking the bus, I could now call a taxi to take me home. I appreciated what she'd done, and I thought it was ironic that I'd lost $20 and gained $20 in the same day. Someone told me that this lady was most likely one of my guardian angels. Maybe she was--because I noticed that she'd never signed in for her appointment at the front desk. I found myself wondering if she'd disappeared after she gave me the money and watched me leave.

This stranger made me feel like maybe there are angels that are assigned to us who know what we're feeling, and who sometimes take human form so they can help us with a particular problem.
