God’s Everlasting Love…Enduring Promises…May All be Blessed this Holy Week, Easter and Always

Good evening USM Angels

I do hope my post finds all doing very well…It's been a little while...I was thinking about every one and wanted to stop by....

Spring has brought the rains with it.. They say, April showers bring May flowers…… It’s been thundering tonight, I am a bit surprised by that since it is real cool outside…the temps dropped drastically around 7:00pm or so. It never ceases to amaze me at this time of the year. When life is renewing itself…the beauty of little animals at play. For a while I didn’t think the swallows would be back but they’re here and so beautiful. The leaves on the trees…the flowers..

Now, waiting on the hummers! They’re sure taking their time. Though I thought I saw one showing off its aerodynamics like a fighter jet…zooming past my porch! Haha I prepped my hummingbird feeder and got the colored water and sugar all ready for their arrival, it’s a serious occasion around here ;) :D

Yesterday I had an appointment at the VA Clinic I picked up my Mama and we took the shortest route. Across the countryside and here at my mountain cabin home, along the avenues and town lawns--they're filled with simply gorgeous Redbud and Dogwood trees in full bloom. I suppose the reason for the cold snap we’re having, it seems to bring out the blossoms and blooms on the trees and flowers. There’s a tree that has blooms on it here. It’s indigenous to Kentucky and very lovely. It’s called a Tulip Tree. The Sarvis and Plum trees smell simply divine!

The Hyacinths and other Spring flowers, popping up through the ground….in spite of the pain I am feeling, when I see these things, I’m reminded of our Good God’s Love, of His unending, enduring Promises…When He gave His Only begotten Son Jesus Christ; the Sacrificial Lamb when He died on a once beautiful Dogwood tree, fashioned into a rugged Cross..

Yet I love that rugged Cross because it’s where He bore my sin and shame, where He took my place and shed His Blood for me at Calvary…For You and for All.. so that we receive are Redeemed unto Salvation…..That we be Born Again, Saved by His tender mercy and glorious Grace…Oh Praise His precious holy Name…..

I’m reminded of that beautiful old Hymn. “Are you washed in the blood of the Lamb?” Are You Saved by His redeeming Power? By His Amazing Grace? This Easter as the little children look for colorful Easter eggs and bunnies.. may we teach them, the true meaning of Easter and of God’s Love…His goodness when He sent His Son Jesus Christ to Save the world------ As Someone said, during this Passover…it may be Friday, Saturday now----- but Easter is coming! Praise God…on that third day He arose!...

Yes, He has Arisen---Our precious Lord Jesus, He is alive! Mary of Magdala exclaimed. That Old Tomb is empty forevermore! And just because He hasn’t returned yet doesn’t mean He’s not coming back------I believe He will be returning…we may not know the moment, the hour or the day….But keep watching…..waiting, looking up…..in the twinkling of an eye…..The clouds will part and His appearing in the Eastern skies….

It will be a sight like we have never known…No Eye has seen nor ear has heard the things He has Prepared for His Children who Love Him….. And those Saved will be caught up and carried away. Those who went by the way of the grave shall arise and also be caught up…..

For God keeps His Promises

John 11:25,26 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: 26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

This Easter and always I am thankful that God loved me so much that He gave His own beloved Son to die for me, for All…..to Conquer death hell and the grave, He has arisen forevermore, He has won! He is alive!.....He is Victorious! Spring rains are here accompanied with thunderstorms….but never forget behind every storm cloud….the sun is still shining…….God makes rainbows from the rain

Blessings this Easter and always

Blue~

How it changed my life:

“My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever." ----Psalms 73:26

Date: 4/21/2019 1:24:00 AM  From Authorid: 998    This post wasn't signed by our beautiful Bluebird, but I just knew by the title this had to be your handiwork Sara. What a marvelous time of year indeed. Our hummingbirds stay with us all through the year. They are called Anna's Hummingbirds. We had far more snow this winter than usual and so we put out an extra 2 feeders for the little hummers. We had to keep rotating them, as they became frozen every few hours.

Our Hyacinths have just about all passed. The one I forced for the kitchen bay window just smelled heavenly. We have the daffodils and tulips in their full glory now. We will be going up for the Tulip Festival tomorrow.

All the little birds have been showing signs of nesting, and we look forward to seeing the babies fledge from their nests in a month or two. Spring is indeed one of the best things on earth. Happy spring to you my dear friend and Happy Easter !!!

Date: 5/9/2019 12:32:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 48250    Good morning Ginger, wishes that You & George are doing very well....Yes, Spring is a gift such a beautiful time of Season...my favorite in fact, though I enjoy all Seasons and here in Kentucky we're fortunate to experience all 4 of them...even though I'd like to see less snow in Winter especially where I live, it makes the task difficult getting off these mountains and foothills...That's very thoughtful, kind to rotate the hummingbird feeders.. for the little hummers...They're so beautiful.. they finally arrived here and have been busily feeding---enjoy watching them, butterflies and the bees fly from flower to flower as the weather gets warmer. It seems that each Spring its more beautiful---the green of the grass, the trees, meadows, the valleys so lush and green, the flowers more vivid...the antics of the baby animals while they're playing...truly amazing and beautiful....I'm so glad you enjoyed my post and are enjoying the little birds during this time---I was so afraid the Swallows might not return and when I sit on the porch in the evening and watch them, I cannot help but think about my conversation with my husband when he had said he was glad that he built the house thinking the Martins would come but brought the Swallows instead----they're such a beautiful bird...I've been hearing the Whippoorwills at night.....the fragrance of Hyacinths, Lilac bushes and wisterias their fragrance is simply gorgeous I've been noticing Fran Trees along the roadways as Spring progresses toward Summer.....I hope You all had a beautiful Easter and Your Spring and Summer is filled with Memories to cherish always....Lot's of Love, Best Wishes...Take/Care
