MONARCH BUTTERFLY -- DID YOU KNOW?

Monarch butterflies have the longest and largest insect migration in North America; they can travel up to 8.000 km to migrate.

The orange colour that monarch butterflies have on their wings warns predators of their nasty taste.

The monarch goes through four different stages of metamorphosis that takes a total of about 30 days to complete.
