~**The most precious Gift of all**~
Thoughts to think upon=========
Good evening USM’s Angels;
Hoping at my posting, every one are doing very well and looking forward to special times spent with family, friends gathering together in celebration and in thankfulness. Last night, while sitting in reflection upon the past few days as I had turned in saying goodnight, I was watching a nice Christmas movie, we had a very nice time Saturday evening spent with family and although my younger brother is recuperating at home from his recent stay in a hospital, he is doing better and I’m grateful. This morning early my niece left to return to North Carolina. She has a very long (over 10 hour), drive and she stopped over visiting with a long time friend earlier tonight then will continue in the morning.
When I arrived with my broccoli and cheese casserole and deviled eggs, Saturday evening my sister in law and niece were setting the dinner table with such pretty festive plates. It was soon filled with delicious food----there's so much to be thankful for, there are many who don't have enough food or a family to share with., there were a few tears, hugs and kisses as we promised to visit with one another again as soon as we can.------While sitting for a few moments longer, I was thinking about displaying my Nativity and other Christmas decorations, how much I enjoy doing that----- how thankful, grateful for family, friends for my blessings, it dawned on me that during this time of celebration,
I've not seen one movie portraying Jesus Christ, His birth. ----The Hallmark movies and others showing on tv at this time are beautiful, the homes and settings the romance the love of family, friends, it's all so nice to watch, I for one certainly enjoy it-----
Still I wondered..... where are the movies, depicting Christ's birth----The most precious Gift of all-----His Love, His life and ultimate sacrifice?-------I can recall school and church plays at Christmas time. How much I enjoyed those. I've certainly noticed the stores are not displaying one Wiseman, the same Wisemen who traveled from afar in search of a Baby, a King...of all heaven and earth.... who left His Throne in heaven to teach us all about Love……. When we gather together with family, friends this Christmas in Celebration, sharing gifts lighting fragrant candles, holly and mistletoe, pine tree wreaths and cones, red and gold ribbons, every color imaginable with vibrant colorful lights, trimming the tree, lovely decorations every where…..
May we remember., giving honor, praise and Thanksgiving to that most precious gift, a Counselor Prince of Peace, a Savior and King of the universe----- who came as a humble babe’ on that night long ago who is still filling hearts with Joy today. That same precious Baby Jesus who lay in a humble Manger, beside his Mother Mary......or that beautiful Star of Bethlehem the Shepherds guarding their flock saw from that hillside on that long ago night when an Angelic host appeared announcing His Birth...Proclaiming Peace on earth.......Oh I Wonder..........
Blessings and best wishes for a beautiful Christmas filled with Christ’s love~ How it changed my life:A Savior a King------A precious Gift----He Came---a Babe' in a humble manger------He came----Changing my life forever~ You can join Unsolved Mysteries and post your own mysteries or interesting stories for the world to read and respond to Click hereScroll all the way down to read replies.Show all stories by Author: 48250 ( Click here )
