Nani gulped. Things didn’t seem to go smoothly when DesertLotus came for a visit. But a free bag of Ghirardelli dark chocolate was too much of a temptation to resist.
Besides, if something happened, it would be better to be at the hospital.
And hopefully, things would go okay. And it was just a follow up appointment.

Dressed as Granny, DesertLotus made her way to the hospital’s entrance.
All she needed was a Tweety to complete her costume this year. And her blonde bird was hopefully working tonight.
“Come here dearie...” she smiled. “Granny misses her Tweety…”
But sadly, Granny’s stomach was acting up.
“Last time I eat bean and cabbage burrito for dinner” The USMer grumbled.
Walking past two smoking nurses, a fireball manifested, leaving the nurses without eyebrows or moustaches.

Nani smiled, as she and DesertLotus sat in the courtyard, eating dark chocolate squares.
“Didn’t he put out a restraining order against you?” she frowned, as DesertLotus shrugged.
“I’m just looking for my canary. I’m sure he’s missed me.”
“His eyes finally stopped twitching last week” Nani sighed. “Let’s just get some pizza.”
“Why dearie, are you going to deny me my canary?” DesertLotus pouted.
Nani sighed. When DesertLotus pouted like that…but poor Sven…
“I’ll go to the gift shop. If you don’t come by seven, I’m calling security. If one thing happens, I’m not going to pay anymore fees.”
DesertLotus gulped nervously.

Walking the halls, she knew she had to be careful. But it was also Sven. And he worth the risk. And she just had to practice some self control.
But she had also eaten an entire bag of chocolate yet again. And she could feel herself becoming more energetic.
That was when she saw him nearby, in all of his blonde perfection.
“Come to granny” she smiled.
That was when he looked over, as if he could sense her. And by the look on his face, he didn’t look very happy. “Security!” he yelled, as she gulped.
Looking around, she went into what appeared to be a bin piled with sheets. But her nose affirmed that the sheets were far from clean. However, her only other option was to turn herself in.
That was when she noted her watch. Now she really had to take action of she wanted to be in the gift shop within five minutes.
“Why me ?”
Desperate, she threw off her costume. After all, they were looking for Granny.
Wearing her normal clothes, she casually walked out of the laundry closet, hearing people yelling nearby.
Acting as calm as she could, she went to the elevator. The gift shop was located near the cafeteria.

Nani sighed. She had been ready to leave the gift shop, when DesertLotus had walked inside.
“Dear, maybe you shouldn’t eat much Ghirardelli. It’s as if you turn into a different person once you eat a whole bag.”
“What makes you say that?” DesertLotus frowned.
Nani just stared.
