Hi everybody! I had an interview at a bank two weeks ago. They said they had some more interviews to do the following week (last week) and then the bank was closed on Monday for the holiday. I want to send a follow up email to ask about any hiring decisions but i also don't want to send it too soon, i don't know long it would take them to make a decision. Fires anyone know how long i should wait? Thanks for any help!

Date: 10/11/2017 3:51:00 PM  From Authorid: 42945    Send a follow up email dear, it shows that you are keen for the position..I'd imagine being a bank that they would have had quite a lot of interviews and check ups to be done so hang in there dear but yes, follow it up..I wish you good luck

Date: 11/11/2017 11:51:00 AM  From Authorid: 23963    I have always waited a few days, and then emailed a thank you note.

If you don't hear back within a week, it is possible they selected another candidate.

Have you heard anything?

It just aggravated me because I was told all candidates would be notified when a decision was made and I was never notified. I wanted a chance to ask what I could improve on had they told me I was not chosen. HOWEVER I had an interview on Friday and received a call just a few hours later offering me the position. I'm am so excited to start my career but also sad to leave the people I've worked with for over 11 years, but I know it's for the best.

Date: 1/10/2018 6:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 4231    I would definitely follow up with them. It doesn't hurt to give them an email just asking if they've made any final decisions on the position that you interviewed for. Good luck, I hope you get
