So other than my recent interests in both Owls and Wolves I've been decidedly consumed with the character The Huntsman.
According to Fairy tails and other stories The Evil Queen /Stepmother to Snow white was hired to lure Snow white out in the woods and cut out her heart for the evil queen to eat so she can remain young forever.
But I've been wondering if this man did exists what thoughts would have been going through his mind about having to perform this horrible act to someone so innocent .
With the Snow white and the Huntsman movie , Huntsman Winters both who were played by Chris Hemsworth and the Once Upon a time version with my main crush Jamie Dornan but unfortunately was killed off in the first season by Regina who was at the time the Evil queen . It just makes me anxious and curious what would have been going through his mind knowing he would have to sacrifice both first a deer's heart cause this man even though a Huntsman was like a protector to animals and secondly when Regina killed him.
They should make some kind of Huntsman Origin story out side of the whole Snow white and other tales that involve her and yes I know Winters War was kind of one but not really a good look to what I would have like to have seen.
I've also been looking for stories or books involving this character if anyone knows of any and yes Grimms versions would do nicely cause at least we know they can be not necessarily honest but more intriguing .
