Don't let a bad customer ruin your day. Most likely, she's frustrated about her own problems and simply took it out on you. After the third time I laughed it off because a mature real adult would have acted like an adult. |

So, um...yeah. People can get CRAZY when it comes to their food!!! I worked in the food industry (mostly pizza places) through college and some people would get downright nasty about a mistake that could be fixed - free of cost to them! And prioritized so the wait would be maybe 4 or 5 mins rather than 20 (behind everyone else waiting). So, yeah, sorry you had to deal with that. Maybe she wanted it for a special occasion, and sure, it's inconvenient that the box popped open, but accidents happen. Don't let it get to you too badly. It was, after all, just an accident. |

That is why you always want to make sure you involve your manager. Had your manager not known about it and it was reported to corporate by the customer, then it would have resulted in disciplinary action.
Good on you for following protocol |

That's the problem when working and dealing with the public...apparently some can't take the mistakes of employees and will report over anything I find..whatever the problem was you've learned by it... |
