You did the following right: - Corrected the problem by apologizing and asking her if she wanted a replacement. - You got a manager involved immediately since the customer was being unreasonable. If you hadn't gotten a manager involved, it could have resulted in some type of warning since corporations usually take sides with the customer. In this specific case, you got assistance and that is all you needed in case corporate did contact your location. Some customers no matter how hard you try will always be unreasonable. People can be so rude. I spent 8 years working in a grocery store. One lady got SO angry with me because I finished making a pizza for a customer who had ordered a few minutes before her before I started on hers. Only took me about 30ish seconds before I started on hers but she ended up calling the store director. We all had a good laugh over that one. ![]() |
