Adora and SmoknJoe Updates

I know long time no see. Last July me and SmoknJoe got my nail salon open, its been a slow road, but with warmer weather around the corner we're hoping that business picks up. I'm looking for someone to work with me there, because as my belly gets bigger it's going to be harder to get up from the squatty pedicure stool. Why is it going to be harder, why is my belly getting bigger? Well that is update number two. Me and SmoknJoe are expecting our third child the end of September. We still have about 12 weeks before we find out boy or girl, but we do know one thing for sure, it's a baby.

My brother and I also had to put our mother in a nursing home shortly after opening my shop. Her Alzheimer's got so bad that we couldn't keep her at home anymore. She was constantly trying to walk up and down the road at all times of the day and night. My brother had to get keyed deadbolt locks that could only be manipulated by keys to keep her in the house. We brought her out for Christmas holiday, and she beat, and tried to break the door down to get out that she broke the window out of the door, so me and my brother had to make the difficult decision to not bring her home for over night visits anymore. The nearest nursing home that would accept her is well over twenty miles away, and it makes it difficult for us to see her on a regular basis, and we're going to try to get her into the skilled unit here in our town. They wouldn't accept her last July on the grounds that she is "too young and active", it seems that they only want patients that are half dead that they don't actually have to actively watch. I wish there was a way I could sue them for discrimination, but it is their right to be choosy. I just really want my mom near me during my pregnancy. She has been there through both of my previous ones, and it is the one thing I have been really sensitive about since finding out about this one.
