Hi Sarah so lovely to see you but I am sorry that you don't seem to be able to find a job dear...Yes, you do need to get out of the house and socialize with others especially being round your age and likes/dislikes..I think also that when people are on diets they all have the same problem of the weight being up and down, main thing is to continue with it. Just cut down on the size of the meals, stop any added sugars, sodas and walk sweetie..just 30 mins a day can help...As far as seeing 50 Shades of Grey, if you want to see it, go see it..nothing to feel embarrassed about if that is what you want to see...did you see him in The Fall?? it was a series over here on TV..anyway sweetie, keep trying for a job, keep trying with your diet it will all come to fruitition ...*hugs* |

Don't give up. It's great that you keep putting yourself out there! Is it possible to go in person and ask about your application? Is there anyone you know that works at a place that is hiring? It's competitive out there and it is about who you know sometimes. I wish you the best of luck and I think your feelings are totally valid, but you gotta do what's best for you and makes you happy. You got this! |

I think both Zema and Mayuka gave you some really good advice. Try applying in person as well. Hand the application directly to the manager. You can't sit and wait for the job to come, you have to get moving and be diligent. Getting a first job is difficult, because you don't have enough experience and the market out there now is competitive. Try for fast food, restaurants, anything to get you the experience you need. It does not mean that you have to stay there in the long run, but as you gain experience and build your resume then your resume will look more attractive for the jobs that you do not.
Also constantly revise your current resume and tailor it to the job that you are seeking. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. |

Maybe take a small course at your local community college. With the summer coming up many of them offer small courses such as flower arrangement (which could get you a part time in a florist), wreath making (which is another florist job), pottery classes, photography, and many others. Check out the fliers that your local one sends out for their summer semester. The classes are usually very cheap too, as normally they are only once a week classes for a few weeks. |
