Rapunzel sighed, as she tossed her braid out the window. It felt so weired to have her hair come to her mid back.

She sighed, but her mother would never allow her to marry. So this was the only way.

Not to mention she had grown up in a tower, and had been stolen from her parents. Good thing the incident had been reported all those years ago. Having a royal connection sure helped.

“I’ll have her arrested, and I found your parents. You’ll see them soon” her Prince nodded.

Nodding, she began to follow her Prince to freedom. Why it had never occurred to her to use her own hair verses scrapes of cloth was beyond stupid.

As she and the Prince were married, the Royal Swat Team dealt with the witch, who refused to surrender without a fight. But eventually, she was captured and taken into custody.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Glaring, Rapunzel looked at the witch who had deceived her for her entire life. “How could you lie to me?”

“Hey, they gave you to me!” the witch retorted.

“And you couldn’t share anything from your garden? You really are giving witches a bad image. No wonder they’re stereotyped.”

“Look who’s talking. You bathed your cat by licking it, and you’re blonde!”

With the witch having a point, she pouted.

“She tried to alphabetize a bag of M and Ms” the witch smirked, as the whole room had hands covering their mouths.

“Whatever, I’m the one who’s married prince. So don’t make me mad, as I decided your fate!”

That seemed to sober the witch up.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dinner with her family was nice, and it felt nice to know she wasn’t alone in the world. In fact she had two younger sisters, and two younger brothers.

“If you would like, you may come and live at the palace” the Prince offered.

“Thank you, I would dearly love to get to know my daughter” her mother smiled.

“Was she kind to you?” her father asked.

“Yes, at least at first. But I never interacted with anyone. And when I turned thirteen, she took me to the tower. The only person I ever met was the prince.”

“Still, what will you do with her?”

“I do have an idea…” Rapunzel smirked.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The witch couldn’t think of a more degrading job.

For the rest of her life she would be a clown, destined to perform for at children’s birth parties.

“No, so cruel...” she whined.

“No crueler then you were to me. You didn’t want me to find happiness. You did what you wanted, and didn’t think what I wanted.”

The witch began to sing. “I love to sing a About the moon-a and the June-a and the spring a I love to sing a About a sky of blue a, or a tea for two a Anything-a with a swing-a to an "I love you a I love to, I love to sing!

Give me a song a About a son-a gun that went and done her wrong a. But keep it clean a With a tower small a by a waterfalla, Any sob a that will throb-a to a bluebird's calla, I love, I love to sing!

I was born a singin' foola, Lah-de-dah! Ol' Major Bowes is gonna spot me, Got through Yale with boula-boula, Lah-de-dah! Old microphone's got me!

I love to singa, I love to wake up with the soung a in my mouth a And wave a flag a With a cheer for Uncle Hammy and another for my can of spammy, I love to sing!

A child threw its own dirty diaper at the witch, as Rapunzel and her prince kissed nearby.

The End
