The Little mermaid looked on.

“Soft kitty, warm kitty, Little ball of fur. Happy kitty, warm kitty, purr, purr” she sang.

Watching from behind a rock, she hoped someone would find him. And she couldn’t risk living the prince alone.

“Royal search and rescues, I found him” a man said as he ran down the hill.

Relieved, she dove underneath the waves.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Knowing her parents wouldn’t approve, she headed towards the lair of the Sea Witch.

“Hope she helps me”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sea witch nodded.

“Yeah it’ll serve as payment. I’m catching laryngitis.”

Nervous, the little mermaid signed the contract.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gagging, she barfed on the beach. She had never tasted anything so disgusting as the potion.

Still, it worked. Her tail was gone. And thankfully, she wore a bluish green dress.

Feeling sick she made her way to the palace, leaving a trail of vomit behind her.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The prince treated her with kindness. But without her voice, he didn’t seem to even think she was the one who had saved him.

When they went to Olive Garden, he noticed a woman, as the Little Mermaid pretended to be happy.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Weeks later she cried, as she sat on the beach.

The woman, who the prince though had saved him, had bitten his neck. And since she didn’t have her voice, she couldn’t call for help.

That was when the woman had noticed her. And fangs had been revealed.

Desperate, she had grabbed the prince and had jumped out a window. Like before, they ended up on a beach.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feeling groggy, the prince opened his eyes. The last thing he recalled was swimming with the girl…who had been the one to save him. But before, the words of his new bride had shocked him.

“I only married you for your money, and blood” his fiancé said licking her lips, revealing fangs.

“Gold digger” the Prince frowned. “I feel so used.”

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Dawn was coming….

That was when her prince appeared. Relieved, she ran up to him.

But the vampire had found him….how had he survived?

That was when she noted his fangs.

“Stay with me dear one…I know you’re the one that saved me.”

She frowned. How had he finally known?

“Wait here…” he said he ran out into to the water and disappeared beneath the waves.

A few moments later her voice returned. And she was still alive.

“That was when her prince surfaced.

“Heh, she tasted like chicken….” he said, licking his lips.

“My prince…”

“Come, I cannot survive the sun.”

As dawn came they ran into a cave for shelter.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“She married me only for money, and owed the sea witch. You are my true love. And the one that saved me.”

The little mermaid looked on. So that vampire was still alive?

“Yes, but I’ll deal with her later. I had to make sure you would live.”

The little mermaid looked at the entrance, seeing the sunlight. But she woudn’t leave the side of her beloved prince.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As her dear one slept. She smiled, as she yawned. She was getting sleepy herself.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The gold digger vampire glared. The hut stank of dead and decaying fish. But they had to be nearby. So she’d get to them when the sun went down. Even she had to be careful.

That was when a Fairy Godmother appeared.

“You owe me, pay up!”

“Get lost you blue haired dragon!” the Gold Digger snapped.

With a glare the fairy god mother turned to the vampire into kitty litter.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The prince opened his eyes as he regained his humanity.

“My dearest, please marry me, so I may have the honor of having you by my side.”

The little mermaid nodded.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In less than a week the little mermaid was given her human form by a fairy godmother. And with the unexpected approval of her parents, she was soon married to her beloved prince.

The End
