I look around and your not there. All I see are empty chairs. I envision sometimes a room filled with chairs but no one in them, I sometimes think of an empty chair at a desk or a computer. Then I feel sad for the family and friends left behind.
I look at our memorials and say, wow, that person is gone too...

Hey, Hey, Paula thank you for the task of putting up the memorials, I know I don't want that job. I've just been thinking a lot of the last few days of all the friends I have lost and at my meetings (I go to Celebrate Recovery now) and we lost a few of our members in the last month, so adding them to the many friends I have already lost throughout the years, it's been a little rough.
At church, I have three good friends, outside of those three, are people I get along with and some are good acquaintances.
Every once in a while I think of Danny, Steve & Kathy, Sam, Carl & Wendy, "Old Man" Jack, Bill "Right Here", Martha & Wally, Dick, Janet, Crystal, my first sponsor and my very best friend Jack
and Kevin who, and no one knows why, committed suicide on 20 April 2009. No note was left. We don't know what he was dealing with at the time. Out of all of them, he is the most difficult one, because I lived with him from '98 to 2005.
I know I am not the only one to say, I miss them.
Anyway, thank you Hey, Hey Paula, without you, without USM and without all those that keep this site functional this post would not have been written.
