Fun At Work -Ramses

I don't know Country Western Music, but I do listen to some (the business owner likes it in the afternoon), I'm more of an 80's guy Men At Work, The Police, The Cars, Journey, Genesis, some of The Clash, a few from Duran Duran, some Rick Springfield, "Freeze Frame" by J. Geils Band is just AWESOME! (my opinion) (yeah I know I'm dating myself...)

When I listened to some songs at work, Alabama's "I'm in a hurry (and I don't know why), "Jambalaya on the Bayou" by Hank Williams Jr. and then remade by The Carpenters, not sure which version it was, it was upbeat, fast tempo, (right wording, I don't know).

All I know is in the afternoon the Country Western music we listen to is pretty rockin' stuff, not the slow stuff I used to know (and very much still dislike)

It's interesting running a chainsaw and then shutting it down and hearing "Before He Cheats" by Carrie Underwood, interesting moment.

I've been doing a lot of chainsaw work this week, I run a very nice Stihl MS-362 C. It's a great saw, I love it! I got all the protective gear and good thing too or I wouldn't have a right leg anymore (three times over). Chaps help, a lot!

I need to get a second bar for it and a small limbing chainsaw, that will also take out brush as well.

Maybe someday.

Anyway, thats it for now. It's kinda funny never really thought I would enjoy Country Western Music!

Date: 5/13/2016 10:12:00 AM  From Authorid: 25390    It gets really interesting when one song is "Rap God" by Eminem and the next is "Circle of Life" from the Lion King!

I was also thinking how befitting too since we've been getting a lot of rain here in the mountains of Kentucky -----I enjoy several genres of music, Gospel being #1 especially Southern & Bluegrass Gospel, but I also enjoy Light Rock, Celtic some Classical, Opera, Irish, 50's 60's 70's Oldies, Classic Country from the 50's to the 90's but very little of this new Country, to me it's just not Country anymore, but that's me-----and it's fun to rock out to Sirius XM's Elvis Live in Memphis-----Have Fun & watch those Stihl's-----it's great to see You back!-----T/C

While cooking or working out faster music and sometimes I just like easy listening. Will always like classic r&b & rock and roll
