This is in response to the comments I have read from the following post by DesertLotus 22721

Why I Voted For Trump:

1.) Trump has thrown political correctness out the window.

2.) He is not a lawyer

3.) He is not a politician

4.) He is self funding and owes nothing to anybody

5.) He loves our military, will rebuilt it and take care of our vets

6.) He will shuttle Obamacare

7.) Illegals will be given a one way ticket out of the US

8.) He will balance our trade deficit

9.) He is not a Rino and will get rid of the ones that are

10.) He will go after the IRS and start arresting people

11.) He will cut the deficit and pay it down

12.) He will give us a flat tax and reduce capital gains tax

13.) He will bring US companies back to America and get real Americans jobs

14.) he will deport if you are illegal

15.) Trump loves America and our constitutional law

I ask myself am I better off than where I was 7 years ago?

I would have to say in terms of employment, job prospects for me have been the worse they have ever been in the last 7 years.

I see all the time timber being cut down, logging trucks from Montana and Idaho going to Seattle. The logs then get shipped to China where they "buy" it from us, (China gets subsidies from the U.S. government i.e. U.S. taxpayers) and is then made into furniture where we buy from China.

More and more manufacturing jobs are going over seas.

Some say: Never Trump! I ask why not?

He preaches hate is what I get most.

You mean the illegals? If there is an illegal immigrant I say, they either have to register as an American, they need to pay taxes, pay into everything else that we do, Social Security, property tax etc. just like everyone else. My ancestors registered here back in the early 1900's no reason why they can't.

If a million people decided they wanted to immigrate into this country, I say great, get them registered. They have to abide the laws like the rest of us.

You want to impede the drugs pouring into this country? Build the wall and Mexico should be paying for it.

Some mention the four bankruptcies, that was for financial restructuring, trying to find why the loss of revenue. Not a single door was closed, not a single person was laid off.

In our church there were Cruz and Rubio supporters (when they were in the race, technically they still are, they suspended their campaigns meaning they are still running they are just no longer campaigning). There are also Hillary and Sanders supporters. I had made a pledge to my pastor, that every Sunday, I am there armed, to protect my wife, him, all those in the building including myself.

I'm sure many know I am armed, when it gets close to 80 degrees F. (26.6 degrees C) and I am still wearing a vest to cover my piece, I'm sure people can tell at that point even though they cant see it.

If Sanders wins, the only ones who will be armed are not those that are responsible with firearms, but those who obtain them through illegal means. Gang members do not care if another gun law is written or not, it is just one more among many that they have already broken.

By removing the 2nd Amendment is one critical step to a police state: That is DICTATORSHIP.

If Hillary wins, it is another 4 years of the same. Nothing will change except that it will be worse! More people from the middle east that we don't know who they are or what they are about.

Some say who cares? I say, look at France, Germany, all of Europe. If you want the bombings that Europe has, vote Hillary.

In either case, Hillary or Sanders, it will be more of a dictatorship than ever before.

We have a very corrupt government, will Trump fix that or can he? Only time will tell.

I voted for Trump because I already know what the other two are about.

Sanders never held a steady job until almost 40. Sanders talks about the issues, the people around Sanders talk about the issues, we know almost nothing about who he really is as a person, extreme activist, divorced father, people who know him best who are asked about Sanders early years are told with harsh language to go away in most cases.

Hillary can be summed up in one word: Benghazi. She gave a stand down order, Obama was busy campaigning at the time and in his own words he told the press when asked, "I didn't get the paper yesterday." I guess his remote didn't work either...

N. Korea has Nukes, so does Iran, both have been testing their capabilities for a good while now.

Trump wants Nukes for South Korea and Japan. Trump does not want to send any funding to Iran, Hezbollah or Hamas. Now do I know that with 100% certainty, no I don't. Someone who has had 151 successful businesses out of 155 that is a 97% success rate. The guy transformed the slums of New York almost single handedly into very nice apartment complexes.

I lived in New York and lived in Connecticut. In the New England states, Trump gets things done.

What about that imminent domain case?

You mean the woman who had to sell her home that should have been condemned and then moved into a luxury home paid for by Donald Trump?

How many heard this one:

A guy sees a limo pulled over with the flashers on. He sees a business man standing outside in a very fine suit. The guy asks the business man, "Do you need assistance?"

The business man replies, "Yes I have a flat tire and I have a meeting I have to get to."

The guy helps him with the flat tire.

The business man asks, "Thank you, what can I do for you?"

The guy says, "It is our anniversary, do you mind sending my wife some flowers?"

The business man says he would.

A couple of months goes by, a huge bouquet of flowers arrive with a card:

"Thank you for your help with the flat tire, Happy Anniversary. P.S. Your mortgage has been paid in full. Donald Trump"

THAT IS WHY I VOTED DONALD TRUMP!

Fact, point, counter-point... Excellent

Why not issue a stand down order when you're secretly selling arms out of the embassy to bad guys? No duh

Date: 5/9/2016 2:00:00 PM  From Authorid: 22721    You've listed the same reasons why I voted for Trump.

Date: 5/9/2016 9:35:00 PM  From Authorid: 998    I am still undecided. I have a lot more reflection and study to do on the candidates before I will cast my vote. You can bet though that I WILL vote. I love our ability to weigh in on the decisions and people who run this great country of ours.
Date: 5/9/2016 9:43:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63575    Voting to put people in office or to elect them out of office is OUR job, the people have the right to vote for whom they choose and as long as people actually research the ones they are voting for as well as against, those are the ones who should vote. The uninformed voters who do not take the job seriously, they should not vote at all, because they are voting blindly and are the most dangerous voters of all.
Date: 5/12/2016 10:26:00 PM  From Authorid: 13283    Ramses doesn't the electoral college really decide who the next President will be ? Does our vote really count ?

Date: 5/13/2016 1:25:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 63575    last time i knew it does unless we became part of North Korea...The way it's supposed to work is each state votes, say Texas, majority of votes go to Trump, Trump should win Texas. Now say, Hillary gets 5 million votes in Ohio another 5 million in California, she wins both, Trump carries most of the other states and exceeds 270 electoral votes, yet only has 8 million votes, Trump still wins because he he has over 270 electoral votes. What matters is that Trump win most states to get over the 270 mark, I think he will lose Ohio, Florida and California yet win most other states and get over the 270 mark, we will see.
Date: 5/26/2016 2:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 4144    thank you. so many people are anti trump. I don't understand. if Hillary wins we are all up the creek without a paddle.
Date: 6/9/2016 10:39:00 PM  From Authorid: 61013    Given that our choices are now more Hillary and Trump. I know that I'll be voting for Trump. The electoral college does overall decide who wins, but they take into account the people who voted. Which makes no sense with the US being a government for the people by the people. The Electoral College consists of 538 electors. A majority of 270 electoral votes is required to elect the President.
