Pending Stock Market Crash: You Didn't Hear It Here First

On Friday, a presidential candidate predicted a stock market crash will be coming.  Another calls it a terrible time to invest in the stock market and that we're in a bubble right now (caused by the Fed Reserve) and that America is on track for a very massive recession (stock market correction).

The reason is that America's central bank, the Federal Reserve, keeps pumping up the stock market to unrealistic levels.

Low interest rates encourage People to put more money into the stock Market since they earn so little interest by saving their money in the bank.

The Fed cut interest rates to historically low levels, near 0% at the end of 2008 to try to jumpstart the economy after the financial crisis.

It is suggested that Fed chair Janet Yellen is trying to help the current President's Economic track record.  Janet Yellen, for Political reasons, is keeping interest rates so low that the next guy or person who takes over as president will have a Real problem.

The problem with using monetary Policy to juice the system is that it creates Bubbles.

Americans are being forced into an inflated Stock market and at some point they'll get wiped out.  If and when the fed's raise the interest rate this will happen.

On the other hand, some say the Chinese government has engineered a global stock market crash that could strike at almost any time.

Cooler heads say that everything is Peachy kean and to keep investing in the stock market.

Date: 4/15/2016 3:21:00 PM  From Authorid: 19092    I feel it is coming, we are headed for a big downward spiral. When I started saving into a 401K back in the eighties I had high hopes. 3 times since then I have taken huge hits to my savings due to some bankers/investors wrongful actions...and nobody ever goes to jail. If I steal 20 bucks I'm in deep doodoo, these folks steal billions...
Date: 4/15/2016 3:29:00 PM  From Authorid: 13283    The money system is a fraud . Only a few know that . The reason the bankers will not let the federal reserve or the stock market crash and fail is because it would then be replaced afterwards with something more legitimate. They would no longer be able to steal from us . This is just another scare tactic used to control the masses . Let it fail don't worry about it . It will be replaced by something waaaaay better !
Date: 4/15/2016 3:30:00 PM  From Authorid: 31765    Hi Dunno honestly I've been poor so long that I don't know any other way of life. I live on a fixed income and just barely get by. I'm thankful for what I have but truthfully if it weren't for my mother I'd either be on the street or assisted living. Many Americans are in the same boat. So for me and many like me fluctuations in the market don't affect us in the same way as the wealthy. We feel it in increases in prices of groceries and utilities. Even spending and eating frugally sometimes there's still not enough.

So some people won't get seconds on dessert while others are glad to have top ramen. There is a division of us and them. There always has been. What I hope for someday is for no one to be hungry or homeless. It's not that I'm dumb but I only have a very limited understanding of the stock market. I'll just keep hoping and praying for the best

Date: 4/15/2016 4:17:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 28363    Hi King Caspian - I used to work support for Citibank/Quotron in financial information services and so have seen it from the inside. I remember one time while in training for foreign currency trading system I asked where the got the numbers for the exchange - he said they just make up the numbers.
Date: 4/15/2016 4:20:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 28363    Yes, Royal Uzi - it is a fraud - I'm just wondering how bad it would get if it all unravelled and whether we should be happy with what we got. I also think we get punished twice by the same wall street bankers when they go bust - the tax payer bails them out and they get the broker fees on all the lost trades from the original bust.
Date: 4/15/2016 4:28:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 28363    I know what you mean Altaira - I live on a small pension/trust and definitely know the feeling of having to budget. Pulled my 401K just before the 08 crash and haven't looked back. wish I had some gold about right now - I see 'em pulling it out of the water in Alaska.

Would be nice for the super rich to share with the super poor and cure hunger and homelessness but I am not sure that is in the cards. Have a great day and tell Dawn I said hello.

Hmm... how could we get at peoples savings - oh let's make them put it in the stock market - let's build it up - and then when the time is right - let's pull the rug out and steal all (or part) of the folks money. Sounds like a great strategy and I have seen it pulled off more than once.
