Some of you may remember a post I made this past week about my health and the health of a couple of my family members. Well, my sister in law who was diagnosed with lymphoma passed away yesterday. The day that she was actually diagnosed she seemed to actually be doing better. Her blood pressure was starting to come up and she was starting to eat more. Her daughters and husband (my brother) left her side to go home not even thinking that things would take a turn for the worse. Well, shortly after midnight they got a call from the hospital telling them to come back in for she had coded and they needed to get there before it happened again for then it might be too late. Her immediate family, except for one daughter and her sister made it to her side before she died. She was even gone before I got on the scene. Her oldest daughter was 18 hours away and just never made it home in time. I feel so bad for her for as devastating this whole thing is, it must be ten times worse on her. I still think this is one big nasty dream and that when I wake up Betty will calling me up to ask me when I am coming to visit again. Everything happened so fast that I think all of us are still in shock. I am asking my friends and family here at USM for prayers for the lost family left behind to deal with this unexpected grief. We all need that extra hug that I know I can receive from all of you here.
