Donald Trump is serious about his "Make America Great Again" mantra.
The presidential hopeful recently shelled out some bucks for his 2016 presidential campaign theme, buying it from Nashville radio host, Bobby Estell, The Hill reports.
Estell (a.k.a. Bobby Bones) filed a trademark application for the phrase this summer and vowed to give it to Trump in exchange for a $100,000 donation to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (and a one-on-one with the Republican candidate), TMZ reported.
Apparently, Trump and the host struck a deal.
"Can't say how much the check was for. but thanks Donald Trump. This check goes to St. Jude. have your slogan back," Estell tweeted on Thursday alongside a photo of a check from "Trump Marks LLC."
Estell also showed an envelope with the "Trump Corporation" logo. The exact dollar amount was whited out.
"We simply reimbursed him the money he had paid to try and register the trademark and allowed him to donate it to St. Jude's Hospital," a Trump spokesperson told The Hill.
Trump's mantra has appeared on much of his campaign apparel including hats, t-shirts, bumper stickers and hoodies during the businessman's bid for the presidency.
