Definitely is a great life!! They are some seriously awesome kiddos. I'll take all the credit for that lol :P They have grown SO much Zema. Adia is already in woman's sizes! Like, really? You're ten!!! She's pretty upset by all the growing she's doing - "I dont want to be an adult! I wanna be a kid for a little bit longer." Zema, I cannot believe that my baby is going to be five this spring. FIVE. That's how old Adia was when I got pregnant with him. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas too!! Hi Oddy!!!! It's nice to meet you too! Thank you for saying my children are lovely! They're also totally wild as well lol. Thank you about the hair! She is quite the brave child, sets her own rules, especially with fashion. Thank you Ginger!! I've been thinking for a few months how I need to be more active in here! Life is awesome. AND a yay - my husband came home from work this morning and told me he is going to be getting a promotion/pay raise!! Right now he's a welder, but they want him to move to blow mold, which is a $2 pay raise! He also has a chance to be a group lead which would put him at $20/hr. That would be amazing, but even the eventual $2 raise will be awesome. Right now we're having a really hard time, but things WILL be changing!!! I'm pretty excited for him. |
Date: 12/2/2015 9:08:00 AM From Authorid: 62927 Homeschool rules! Most of my friends grew up to homeschool and they've grown up awesome, accountable for themselves, generous toward others, confident and happy. You sound like a great persons to emulate too. Rock on and glad you posted. |

We love homeschooling! We started homeschooling when Adia was seven (though, I've been collecting awesome educational materials from thrift stores and sales since she was two lol!!) and she went back to public school last year and then quite soon after the school year started she remembered why she preferred homeschooling. So we went back to it this year. And homeschooling Elias consists of letters one day, numbers the next, shapes, colors and science. The socialization argument? Adia will talk to anybody, anywhere, anytime. Elias, not so much, but I think that's just his age! They both have friends of all ages, all backgrounds... its great!! Thank you! |
