Where the Trail Led
Now a blanket is added to the bed, Night air chills the skin, A wander lust dancing in my head, Take me where I haven’t been, Leaves are tinged with a color show, I smelled wood smoke on the eve, There’s a place I want to go, How soon would I be able to leave? Pack is ready and the feet are able, Elevation is a little high, Food in a pouch makes no need for a table, Stars are my canopy in the sky, Disturb the night creatures with a snore, Morning fire for breakfast in bed, Nothing I want to experience more, Than such a place where the trail has led.
