So I'm a little late on this post since I got engaged on June 25th but better late then never! ;)
The Proposal
We were on a weekend vacation with my family in Duluth, MN (we went a day before they showed up) and was in Canal Park when we went on a carriage ride. I was surprised he wanted to go since it seemed kind of expensive and wasn't really up his ally but it was something I always wanted to do so I was pretty excited! We got in the carriage and started moving when he started acting all nervous and he said "I bought you something." He pulled out this cute polished rock with a heart in the middle (Loved it!) and said "You will always have my heart." (I think my heart melted just thinking about it all over again!) Then he really started acting nervous (I have never seen him that nervous before!) when he said "I bought you something else." And that's when he pulled out the ring and asked me to marry him!
So October 1, 2016 I will be getting married!!!
