Hello, USMers! It's time again for another product review!
Up for review is Danimer lip gloss. Like the MeNow lip glosses I reviewed not too long ago, these are Chinese products advertised to dry to a perfectly matte finish and do not smudge or transfer to cups, straws, etc.
I ordered the numbers 06, 05, and 09; a red and two pinks respectively.
The red dried fairly quickly. Under a minute, I'd say, and it was totally dry to the touch. The pinks, however, took forever to dry. 09 took 15 minutes to dry and 05 took 20. Even then, they still felt sticky, and it took an extra ten minutes for them to be totally dry. So, roughly half an hour for the pinks to dry.
I did the rub test, where I swatch on my arm and rub it to see if they smudge at all. Unfortunately, they did smudge and fade. I wore the red to work the other day. It held up pretty well, I have to admit, but it honestly didn't impress me like the MeNow lip glosses.
Here's something I neglected to mention previously in my MeNow review: they have a pleasant smell. A very pleasant smell. They're sweet, kind of like a strawberry scent. Danimer lip glosses also have a smell. The red smelled very sweet, like candy. In fact, I can almost name the candy it smells like, but not quite. The pinks...smell exactly like foundation.
They're only 99 cents and free shipping, so you can't go wrong there. Personally, I'd recommend the MeNow lip glosses, as they're the same price but a vastly superior quality.
