I support and believe marriage should be an option for two consenting adults. Regardless if its same sex, or an opposite sex couple. |

I have no objections to your reply. I only question if those who believe in multiple partners. Where does their definition of marriage fit into the new acceptable marriage equation? |

Everyone should have a right to experience the misery known as marriage. |

I do not agree with gay marriage due to religious beliefs. But I still treat everyone (gay, straight, bi, trans etc) with respect and dignity. I can understand why people were/are for it. It's about equality. You do not have to agree with someone's "lifestyle" but you should always respect that person. And that is what I strive to do. People are people no matter who they go to bed with at night. |

Already a case filed in Montana since the courts ruling. From an ex mormon with two wife's who wants a marriage license for his second wife...where does it end? He's got a point, love is love and he should have equal rights. Why anyone would want a second wife... |

So, since there is now no such thing as "traditional" marriage...why can't it be a guy a girl and a girl, or a girl and a guy and a guy, or a guy, a guy and a guy...or a girl and a girl and a girl...see where this is going? |

And what about those who are in love with themselves? Don't those who are in love with themselves deserve equal rights? |

KC. The "traditional marriage" ideal was lost long ago when society accepted divorce and remarriage. A man wanting multiple wifes is not so different times more |

Rod, good questions. It was my assumption that a 'traditional marriage' is one man married to one female for life, or until death do they part. However, this is a misconception, there seems to be a double standard among those who battle for ' traditional marriage'. IMO, they do not recognize that divorce and remarriage acceptance began the revolution of re-defining marriage. And as KC mentioned that a man wanted to take multiple wives and ' look where this is leading'. We have already arrived, multiple wifes is a fact in remarriage already. My point being that heterosexuals seem to have a double standard when it comes to the battle of defining a ' traditional marriage' . |

It is an opinion. Persons who are in a same sex marriage are living in fear, Men in fear of women and women in fear of men. So they are playing house with one of their own gender. A Man and Woman marry and take on the responsibility of having children that makes them Adults and parents. I do not think a gay couple should get the same benefits as straight couple in that the factor of a child makes it necessary for government assistance be available should one or the other lose a job. |

I am trying to figure out how to say this where I don't come off sounding completely rude or anything. If I do sound rude I apologize. The issue of gay marriage is not even on my radar of problems; there are so much more that we should all be concerning ourselves with. Like ISIS running amok in the middle east, poverty, hunger, and all that stuff. To me marriages should not be regulated by the government. I feel that marriage licenses for all should be signed, but overall I think that the churches, bakeries, and other businesses should be allowed to refuse to perform services if it is against their beliefs, and they shouldn't have to fear a lawsuit if they do refuse the service. |

I came out as a lesbian at 18 (now 27) and married my partner of three years in December. I don't see anything wrong with gay marriage but, of course, religious officials should never be forced to officiate weddings which go against their personal views. |
