I can really appreciate this prayer. I do truly hope you can find good ways to let go of the anger especially in situations that would incite you. I have rarely ever found that anger makes things better. Not many people know this about me, but my Irish/Scottish side can show signs of a bad temper. Over the years I have found ways to calm it down and wrestle it into submission. Best of luck to you in getting a hold on your anger.   |

I hope that you can find peace in knowing that it is human nature for all to have different points of view and to us some of the views are so distasteful and so not nice, but in saying that, even if it is against all of our thoughts and feel like we are being personally attacked, anger doesn't solve anything my friend..in fact it probably makes it worse within us. We have to learn to turn off from ugly thoughts and actions that come from many the world over...It took me a long time to learn this myself Pale Knight...I didn't like the kind of person I was turning into because of it...  |

I Pray too, Pale Knight for all of America & around the world--------Daily Pray for our People our Nation, its Troops, Veterans, its endless-------As a Southerner; I agree with You in regard to our Heritage, History The Southern and or Confederate Flag as we have often referred to it-------it is what it is nothing more, nothing less----Yet, there are those Extremists who want to make a "Racial issue" out of it. Just as there are those who are attempting to Cause Create so much Division between the people-----to cause/create Racial tensions ultimately causing a Civil War--------It seems these days The Good is made to look bad--------God's Word says, Woe to those who love evil calling it as Good and Good, evil.. And those who seek to destroy The United States of America, its founding principles is a DISGRACE-------It's went beyond sickening----------the Supreme Court hasn't the Right to Interfere as they have done, they have went way out of bounds as they are doing with many issues in this Country.....The very actions of president o'bama is a slap in the American Citizens face---------But it's far from Over------------We're living in Exciting times, my Friend, but don't be angry-------But do Voice Your Opinion------Pray & watch & wait, I'm excited to see what Ggod is going to do about all of this!-------We Serve an Awesome God & believe me when I say; He's Got it all Covered, He's in Control  God Bbless.....Take/Care!  |

This is a great prayer. I don't have any relatives from the Confederacy, I have great grand father that was from Sweden and was in the Oklahoma Land rush. He found a spot he liked and staked it out and was then summarily held up by a group, they stole all his possessions and stripped him of his clothes and left him to die. He eventually found a lone territory martial who gave him permission to shoot the people who robbed him. He had acquired a derringer by then but never found his old location or the people who robbed him again. He wound up marrying another Sooner and got his 140 acres that way.  |
