~He Calls us His Children~

I am reminded of a Sacred Scripture-------we are a Chosen People unto God

In 1 Peter 2:9—10 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light 10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

While sitting here on my cabin porch in the mountains of Kentucky listening to the gentle rain falling seemingly far removed from the recent terrible tragedy in South Carolina, yet within my heart it feels as if though this horrific nightmare happened to my closest neighbors down the lane--------

In the middle of a crowd of people-----I could hear- angry voices screaming, Kill him!!!------Execute him!!!------Give him Lethal injection!!!!---------in reference to the young man whom walked into a historic peaceful church In beautiful, South Carolina where precious souls were shot down during Worship Services------------I’m left wondering, why?-----------feeling like a small boat in the middle of the ocean, then I suddenly begin to feel a burning sense of righteous anger of indignation well up within my spirit Not at the perpetrators themselves----------no, but aimed directly toward the evil-------the violence, the anger, misunderstanding----the prejudice, the hatred------the miscommunication---------

Perhaps someone could enlighten me—------with regard to all the recent murders, attacks Happening all across this Nation--------not only this recent heinous act of Violence. Are any less guilty?-------------------Were the victims any less innocent than these? Perhaps this is overstepping boundaries, for as such a great deal many folks feel uncomfortable at the least when it comes to discussing politics, religion etc but I’m one who believes it is what it is & this situation only adds fuel to the already enferno-like flames., I can see blazing upward-------

I can see very clearly the fact, there are manipulative crooked politicians in this country who are using this tragedy to their own advantage, to serve their own evil motives, their selfish agenda. Sadly there are some who for whatever reason cannot see that this country is headed for an even bigger tragedy---------With the Marshal Law------Sharia Law-----------Clearly leading to a Dictatorship in this Nation------------recalling stories, detail after detail those precious lives lost, tragically taken, stolen! Yes, I dare speak of the horrific, cruel nightmarish blight upon humanity; The Holocaust------ When, blindly, innocent citizens were led by Hitler into death camps------------------Stories recited by the late Corrie Tin Boom, 82 year old Holocaust Survivor Simon Grunowski & others, help us to never forget this tragedy upon humanity; a people.

Could it be another similar tragedy is about to unfold within the pages of our own generation’s history? When One by one; the rights & civil liberties that our Veterans and current Troops have Fought For while Some have died for are slowly, methodically being stripped away from us------------ Will we all soon learn what it really means when it is said: “Freedom is not Free” It is as plain to see as the nose on one’s face; This recent tragedy in South Carolina is being Used to strip American Citizens of not only its “Right to Bare Arms” but many more Rights, Freedoms yet it is only the beginning. There is a sense of injustice, an unrest among its People----------

I feel like An evil foreboding wind is blowing across this Nation------ Throughout the past weeks, months I’ve talked with our Heroes who have Proudly Served this Nation---------& most agree, we are One step away from a Civil War----------Is that what we as Citizens of this Nation, desire!? I’ve heard our Veteran Heroes speak about the devastation, the tragedy on Foreign soil-----------------------There are police officers-----in this nation who have stated-----------some of the cities look like a war zone since these tragedies--------Yet, our Heroes say, Friend you don’t have any idea what a war zone really is until you are in the Fight of Your Life------for Your Family, Your Nation!!------ If we were ever to have fighting here on our own soil, then it can be said, it is a War Zone, it’s something we do not need & surely do not want!------- Hate, Anger, Poverty, Prejudice, Jealousy, Greed; the Evil that do Harm to Others

While, I believe Someday there will be real Peace--------I believe we can make a difference here and now. Beginning with a willingness to meet one another half way------ Understanding, Compassion, Caring, Sharing, the Only Cure for these are real Love-------------a Love that surpasses all Understanding-----------the Kind of Love that Keeps on Loving in spite of the hurt, the pain, the tragedy-------the kind of Love that says I forgive, the kind of Love that says, I won’t desert you, I won’t give up on You----I am here for You-------The kind of Love that says------Let us Unite, Let us work together, let us stand together--------Let us wipe out these evils from the face of this planet--------------



I saw a glimpse of this during the occurrence of natural disasters in this Nation, again when we were attacked on 9/11 The Citizens of this Nation stood together proudly helping One another, reaching out----------offering a Helping Hand------------Age sex status race or creed did not matter---------You saw people banding together helping one another------------You could see a boundless Love; the indomitable Spirit of this Nation’s People----Our People!!— People all over are still talking about it today------------but there’s another dark side to our beautiful nation’s history------a blot upon the tapestry woven throughout the generations. A Civil war, also still talked about to this day---------- when a nation, a people could not agree. Where misunderstanding, miscommunication, selfish motives, agendas met in a dark room to decide the fate of this nation---------



Where Brother fought against Brother in the worst human conditions, where brilliant lives, promising futures were destroyed-------Ironically the first cannon fired on April 1861 came from Ft Sumter, South Carolina in which began the onset of the American Civil War. Mere coincidence? I think not! This is not a fairy tale-------this is not merely North & South, or Gone With the Wind----------This is the real world where real tragedies destroy lives, sometimes for generations to come-------------every modern--day convenience made available to us today right down to the last piece of technology can be attributed to that of our forefathers who worked to establish the foundations of this Nation and those visionaries who are still working tirelessly to achieve dreams becoming realities------------

Not only a God-gifted Prophet can see, sense or know, but those who have eyes to see let him see, those who have ears to hear let him hear-those with the wisdom & understanding to know, let him know----------- our Future as a People, a Nation hangs in the balance………. Yet, there is Good News!----------There is Hope in the midst of all this tragedy---------when the smoke clears-------shall we see clearly His marvelous Light!-------In my God, my Savior Hope, it springs eternal--------Shall we Pray diligently to The Creator of all heaven and earth? The Maker of the stars in the heavens who paints the bow across the blue of the sky----------The Master Designer who greets His handiwork in the morning sun light--------Yes the very One who watches over His little ones, like A Mother Hen, does her chicks----------

Who watches for us, waiting for us to come to Him------While He passes by in the cool of the day, His Sweet voice resonates filling up my spirit with pure Joy as I hear Him softly Calling in the quiet as the evening sun sets--- while raindrops softly fall as little birds sing a melody within the emerald green of the trees --------- this same One who with His Word tells the moon to stay where it is while its silvery essence lights up the night like a midnight velvet curtain----------

He; The Lofty Sovereign One who laughs as billowing Clouds become His Chariots. O, to think He Loves All of us as if we are only one!-----------For it is with Him where all things begin-----------Let there be Peace on Earth------Only God can bring true Love Peace Compassion Understanding----------May we turn our eyes toward Him-------The One who made us from the very dust of the earth------------Calling us His Children, His Chosen People for a Time such as this~
