Not to mention it is the only nail salon in the county. Some salons offer nail services but not full service. They may offer manicures , pedicures, and gel polish, but many of them don't even do that.  |

I sure hope the new owner is going to keep you on at your job. You have overcome quite a bit to be there, and you deserve to stay.
The salon I had been going to for years just up and sold it without any notice to their customers. I was really shocked, because I thought they had really worked to create a friendly atmosphere with their customers. Just to see everything change from one day to the next was so weird. I had even been providing a website for the old owner for free, because she seemed to really care for her clients so much. She didn't even notify me that the change was happening. Off putting, to be sure. I did get a client in the new owner, and they paid for the website, so something good did happen.

Stay positive...things always work out for the best. Whether it be change within or without, change is inevitable... so if you stay or not, things will change. Embrace and love what is to come. Don't be scared of change. I work in a salon as well and I've been through the same thing. Try it for a while and see before you move on.  |
