How I met my mom...........

It was a cold rainy day, the wind was howling........Ok, Ok It was a warm spring day (really), the cold rainy day with the wind howling added drama and drama is my middle name. So mom said. Any way the people that I was with took me for a ride in the car. Oh boy I love riding in the car so this was going to great, little did I know that it would be the last time I saw them.

I guess I was just to much for them to handle, hey after all I am about 7 lbs. So the car stops at a pizza place and they open the door, I thought they were going to get out with me but all of a sudden they closed the door and left me in the parking lot. I waited a little while for them to come back to get me but they didn't so I went in the tall grass behind the pizza place to hide. I was so afraid.

Later that day a woman came outside and sit at the table, every once in a while I would peek my head out of the tall grass to look at her. A man came out and I heard the woman tell the him that there was a fox in the tall grass because she could see it ears. The man said no, it's a little dog and I have tried to catch it all morning. The next thing I know, the woman and a little boy was chasing me and I run and run till I could not run anymore and the woman grab me. My little heart was beating so hard and I was shaking She put me in the car and I thought she was going to take me somewhere else and put me out, but she didn't. She took me home to her house.

Man o Man did I get a surprise at that house. There was a little dog my size, two medium size dogs and a giant of a dog named Molly who became my best friend (she was put out at the pizza place to). She weights about 70 lbs and I would make her one little bit if she wanted to eat me.

So that is how I went from homeless to having two sisters, two brothers, a mom and a dad that loves me soooooo much.

Date: 6/16/2015 8:55:00 PM  From Authorid: 998    What a sweet story. If we could only hear the endless stories our little furry friends could tell.

Last month my daughter lost her cat she had for years. An illness that couldn't be fought any longer. Last week, she rescued a year old black and white super friendly cat from the humane society. He is just a lover, and fits right into her family. I wonder what stories he has already ???

The little lady next door is 90 years old and she took a little black kitten that I found about 6 years ago. It was only her and her husband at the time and he died about 5 years ago. She has no family left and that black cat is her reason for living. What is funny is she named the cat, puppy. I had to take it to the vet for her so I called and told them that I had to bring in a cat. When I got there, the girl behind the desk asked his name and I said puppy, well she said "oh I put down a cat". I said No it is a cat but his name is puppy.
Date: 6/17/2015 12:44:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 15362    Zema my dogs are family and there is no way that I could put them out on their own. It would be like putting my child out in a parking lot and leaving. There is an ad that I saw showing a man adopting a little girl and the whole family loving on her and playing with her. Then the girl makes a mess in the bedroom, kept pulling on the mothers shirt. The next thing is the man taking the girl out in to the woods and throwing her doll off in the bushes. She runs after the doll and sees the car leaving and when the camera turn back to her, it is a little dog sitting in the middle of the road with its doll, waiting. That ad is so heartbreaking and that is what it would be like to me.

Date: 6/18/2015 7:04:00 PM  From Authorid: 64819    I wonder the stories my Sasha could tell. We got her at about two. The people we got her from said they had her for a year, and they got her from the shelter when she was a year old. That was almost five years ago. We gave $45 and a pizza for her. Best investment I've ever made.
