Stayed at a very old house Friday night...

Friday I had a gathering w/ former students who are now friends of mine (they're in advanced classes or changed schools), and they cooked dinner. A French salad, Swiss-German potato pasta cheese onion dish, and a Japanese dish. Delicious. So, then we played games (charades and Taboo, NO Ouija or Charlie stuff) It was really fun! The home stay is a house that in 1887 was the first of a few houses in South Pasadena. So the outside looks like a mini castle (not very big looking, hidden by hedges. I should've taken a pic), but you go inside and it's huge. There's a living room, dining room and like 4 bedrooms, which connect to each other separated by doors. The bathroom connects in the middle. It was gnarly. So I knew the house was old and near "suicide bridge" but I didn't think anything of it. We were preparing the table for dinner when I heard a woman's voice (everyone who is there is in the kitchen or dining room) asking "Where are you?" I say "We're in here, come on in!" Because I thought more friends were coming. But, no one came in. The students look at me like I'm crazy. Then I go into the back room and find a student taking what I think is a nap on the bed and she sits up and I say "it's ok, just me." She said "I wasn't asleep. It's this house. It's old. I feel like my energy is draining." Then a male student met us In the kitchen and says he feels the house is old and messing w/ his energy!! We all said it didn't feel like a bad entity or energy. The host of the house heard us swapping stories and says "there are ghosts here. That is a problem.." Lol! 4 different experiences and we all had some kind of paranormal activity.

I wanted to Tarot read some of the students (well, they had asked me to bring the cards), but because of the energy of the house we didn't end up using them.

Thought I'd share with you!

How it changed my life:

Even though I've had many paranormal experiences in my life, I doubted my experience. I hadn't had one like this in a house for a while. Yes, I read Tarot, but it's a different kind of ability and experience being clairaudient. Having a few other people confirm my feelings/experience made me feel more secure.

Date: 6/15/2015 12:34:00 AM  From Authorid: 998    Wow, this sounded like such an awesome experience. It makes me want to go there and investigate it more. I'm kind of glad you decided not to read the Tarot cards. You just don't know what kind of energies you might have picked up or tapped into.

When we started USM, I don't think I believed in ghosts or haunting's .. however there have been a few very significant things that have happened in the home we live in now. Not just something I saw or felt either .. but once two people saw the exact same item disappear .. from right between each other. Really freaky !!

Nothing wrong with Tarot either, only what we bring with us or have learned from others and media. Its the person, not the cards that matter; they are only paper after all, nothing more. If you ever pick up a deck of playing cards..yea... based on tarot but with all the important and meaningful cards removed. I'd love to hear more of your experiences if you would like to share.
Date: 6/17/2015 9:21:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 37150    Thanks!! Believe me, it crossed my mind, Zema, not to stay. But, it turned out well. lol. Ginger, sometimes I still doubt myself even after all my experiences. I find it funny that you didn't believe in the paranormal prior to this site. Well, thanks for starting the site. Pertnikoff (cool name, btw) I ought to share the stories on here more. Thanks for the encouragement. I agree the cards are just paper and people bring energy and meaning to them. I use it as a tool, like a map when I feel lost. And try to help others with them.

Date: 7/31/2015 11:33:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 37150    True! Quite the stories to tell. It's been a while since I've experienced activity like that.
