Well, I'm sitting here in an empty house waiting for the nyquil to kick in and do its job lol. So I thought I'd share an update while I have the chance!
If you haven't read the other posts, that's ok. Just leave it as my house has spirits, and they like to play...here lately I've noticed the dogs more than anything, ears perking up when nothing is there (that I can see) light growling like warning something off. That sort of thing. Most of the time they don't seem bothered so I usually chalk it up to one of those things and leave it at that. But...my youngest son tells me there is scary scary in my oldest son's room, and well I've never felt comfortable in there myself. My oldest son tells me that sometimes something is watching him in there, but doesn't ever show itself to him. My middle son has gotten into the habit of telling stories, usually scary ones so sometimes I think it's just his influence over my younger son...but sometimes I can feel something watching me while I'm in the living room or the hallway and it makes me wonder...
After all I have a long history with this house, and the spirits that stay here. We go through months of nothing going on, and then suddenly BAM something happens...
The other night my niece came over with her mom, and after she came in a stack of wood fell down behind her. She was no where near close enough to touch it, but it fell anyways. After she calmed down we all went on like nothing happened and I stacked the wood back up, but I knew she was nervous being here after that.
Noises in other rooms are common occurrences here, and so usually I don't really pay attention unless someone says something about them. I often wonder if these things will ever calm down for good, but then I figure if they have to happen somewhere, it might as well be here as long as my children aren't hurt.
Ah the nyquil is kicking in, I'm feeling rather sleepy now lol
One last thing though, I often wake up in the middle of the night with the thought that someone is here that shouldn't be, I search the house and nothing is ever moved or out of the normal but it feels like someone is right behind me making the trip with me to check it out...
