Anglo-Saxon medicine is able to kill modern-day superbug, researchers find

I found this article really really fascinating. One of my hobbies has been studying apothecary medicine and herbalism. Most people write it off as quackery. Truly, there is not a single herb on this planet that does not have some kind of medicinal value. Its nice to see Modern Science/Medicine finally catching up to ancient medicine. :)

Date: 4/1/2015 5:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 64365    Thank you for the info. Before modern medicine, there was holistic (or herbal) medicines. In fact, modern medicine is the same thing, just under a different name, and attributed to modern science.

I thought that this was a very interesting story the other day when I read it. Maybe scientists will go and seek out these old remedies and find some that work. I just love how they found out that it was self sterilizing, they seemed so shocked.
