Well it turns out I completely misunderstood my teacher and his intent; I feel like a total nitwit! Since he had changed the grade, he was allowing me to submit it FOR CREDIT! So if I get a high enough score on it, which I don't see why I wouldn't, then I will have a high enough score in his class! :)
BUT...there's another issue. *Another* of my 3 classes was already low to begin with and I hadn't counted on it going any lower. Well, just yesterday my teacher in that class graded an assignment that somehow I never got turned in (I'm still not sure how), and it dropped my grade down below the minimum required. So, now I have to hope that she gives me a high enough grade on my remaining two assignments left to be graded (NOT including the one that I got a zero on, since she may not let me submit that this late) that I can get at least the minimum required grade to keep my financial aid. I will know by Friday, by which the grades from these remaining two "problem classes" should be in.
SO...continue to keep your fingers crossed! I'm not out of the woods yet! But I'm having faith that all will be fine and that I will be attending next quarter, bright eyes and bushy tailed! :-D
