Realize I'm Dreaming?!

  Author:  37150  Category:(Dreams Interpretation) Created:(3/18/2015 9:41:00 PM)

What type of dream is it when you realize you're dreaming and can control it? Lucid? This has happened to me twice in a month! It's never happened to me like this before.

I've been keeping a journal of my dreams lately. They've been very vivid. Mostly about serving tables; I think because my bank account is seriously low since I quit (I'm still teaching), but I was so stressed I just can't go back to that. Anyway, like I said, it's usually right when I run into some trouble in my dream that I realize I am dreaming (I actually have inner thoughts that I tell myself "Oh, this is a dream! I'm dreaming! I'm gonna do something to change/control this!). It's so strange and I usually wake up right after.

Once, I knew I was dreaming and woke up saying "forget these dream people!" lol. I am relieved when I wake up, too, that it was just a dream.

I read up a bit on it and I've been meditating and listening to soothing "New Age" music or nature sounds, and this is linked to Lucid Dreaming.

Anyway, do you keep journals of your dreams? or remember them?

:) Let's talk about our dreaming!

Yes, I remember my dreams, and often record them in a dream journal. Dreams make some of the best stories, and writing is my hobby. I once took a nightmare and turned it into a 400-page book. I never sold it, but it was fun to write.
