Date: 3/4/2015 6:47:00 PM From Authorid: 64985 Wow! What a horible nightmare, especially if it is a reocurring one. I can't say what it means. Its been said that all dreams have a meaning, most often having little to do with the actual context of the dream. But if this dream is causing loss of sleep, this could be dangerious. You might want to think about being hypnotized so you wont have the dream again. That way at least you can rest easily. Other than that you might want to talk to a profesional about the dream. I'll pray for your release from this nightmare so you can have peace and sleep well. Also if possible and you can remember this in your dream say the phrase, In the name of JESUS I command you to get behind me 'Satan'! This is a very powerfull command and spiritually based. For if GOD is with us, nothing can sucessfully come against us. GOD BLESS you friend, be safe!...Corolator... |

Ah, Nightmares...how much do I abhor thee? Let me count the ways... Your nightmare sounds pretty frightening. In the paranormal realm, you could be dealing with an Incubus, a demon that tries to forcefully hold his victim down and engage in intimacies. There have been many women who have claimed that this happened to them while they were sleeping. Or, it could be as simple as the manifestation of empathing another person's anxiety and stresses over something that happened or they are worried about. In the normal realm, it could be just a dumping of excess files your mind turns into a movie...one of those '3-D, surround sound, DANG! This feels real!' type dreams, or worries and anxieties that have been repressed within you. Only you know what has happened to you throughout your life, and whether you need a priest or a psychologist. I hope you find the root of your nightmare and yank it out before it brings your health down. I went through a period of time when I would have horrifying recurring dreams...but, it was PTSD for me, so when I got that taken care of by seeking counseling, it relieved me of my nightmares, too. Oh, and by the way, if it is an Incubus, remember they draw power from helplessness and fear. Strengthen yourself psychicly, and if you pray, pray. And, Welcome to USM. We hope you like it here. I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories. Thanks for sharing. HUGS |

You might want to ask yourself... Did the dreams start after a certain event ? Do they seem more likely after you eat or watch anything on TV ? I can't have chamomile tea. Do they happen at random, or is there some kind of pattern ? Did anything happen in either house that is related to the dream ? Might want to look into the history of both houses. And let your hubby know what's going on, so he can give you some support. |
Date: 3/5/2015 6:20:00 PM ( From Author ) From Authorid: 67353 Thank you for your replies. I have had to deal with a lot in my life and have been diagnosed with PTSD I never really put the two together though. I do pray every day regardless of these nightmares but I have noticed when I pray I don't have the dreams. So I am gonna let go and give to the lord. Thank you again for the replies and advice. |
Date: 3/7/2015 4:01:00 PM From Authorid: 42945 It is amazing what can lay dormant in our sub conscious and hit out in our dreams dear...I have dreams that re-occur, some good, some bad, but they appeared again usually after an upsetting and or happy event in my life....I hope that you can overcome them and have more restful sleeps... |
Date: 3/15/2015 7:15:00 AM From Authorid: 28363 I heard on the radio about this guy that had ptsd and couldn't sleep because of nightmares. I believe he used a combination of anxiety drugs and therapy sessions to get some relief. Good luck and welcome to Usm. |
