Hey there all! How's it going?!
So just wanted to update on school. I didn't get a high enough grade in all my classes last quarter (one class I didn't get enough hours in) which meant I didn't mean the financial aid department's minimum requirements to keep financial aid, and was immediately slammed on to what's known as "financial aid suspension". So i put in the required appeal, which was approved, and my financial aid was re-allowed. The problem is, that was my second appeal (I had to do one to be allowed to go to school and start the program, since I'd been on that same suspension since 1999 when I'd last attended the college). However, only two appeals are *allowed*. After that, you're fresh out of luck because they won't accept anymore appeals if you're put on suspension again.
Therein lies what I would like prayer and intercession for. This program I'm in (Photography) is a 2 year vocational program, and I'm on my second quarter. That means I have to meet all the financial requirement for not just this quarter, but for the 4 quarters after that. If I am even one POINT under the minimum required any of those quarters, I will instantly be put on suspension, and my school career will be permanently over since there's no way I could pay the $1200+ dollars it takes each quarter.
So if you all could pray that I continue passing all my classes with the minimum, at the least, I'd love that!!!!!! :-D Thanks much all!
Other than that, I love my classes, teachers, and classmates. I am learning a lot and my love of photography is growing, and I'm finding my path and way in it, discovering how I want it to look in my life and in a career of it. :-D
