It is so good to see you back here with us Louise. So sorry to hear about your disorder as I'm sure it is very difficult to bear. I hope you don't feel the opposing feeling of crowds here, since we are just nice people who feel like friends and family in this community. Strangely enough, I have met many people that found a nice second home right here with the same disorder as yourself. Many of those have been able to work on their issues and even become more able to get past their front door and out into the world. I truly hope you can find help, and maybe with more posts here asking for assistance might bring some answers your way. I have never experienced this ordeal, but small fears have crippled me from freely using escalators until recent years. I just tried to logically bring myself to slowly work at getting on and off the escalators and slowly .. very slowly I felt like things were getting better. I wish you all the best in finding ways you might be able to work on this issue. I hope to see your Irish Christmas Post. I always have enjoyed reading your posts. I have so much Irish in me, but feel like I don't know much about my heritage. Happy Holidays !!! |

Thank you for your replies. Trying really hard to over come this. I always suffered with depression and anxiety, but never to this point of full blown panic attacks. I really do not know where they are coming from. Going to the docs after xmas to ask for blood. Thyroid issues run in my family, so going to ask for that. Trying my best with the relaxation and visualisation. Think I over done it, since its the xmas period. Pushed myself to hard to expose myself to the triggers. |
