Friend Passed away

Hello my name is Will,

I was talking to an online friend for months now and I just found out that this person passed away. His name was Jamie and he lived a rough life. My question is did he really pass away as he had no family and I cant verify it. Supposedly he had brain tumors. If he did indeed pass, does he know how much Ty and I cared for him and is he ok? Thanks so much for taking the time to answer this.
