Looking for - Birth Parents

I am trying to help my boyfriend locate his birth parents. He was born on October 12, 1971 and adopted immediately. His adoption took place in North/South Carolina just days after his birth. His mother is recorded to be a small woman about 5'1" possibly aged at about 16-18 years of age at time of birth. His father is recorded to be about 5'10" possibly around 18-20 years of age. His mother is thought to have come from a religious family not necessarily living in the city in which the child, now named Christopher Masse was born, but not far from it. It is said that the mother wanted the child but the father did not want to participate in the family setting, being her age, she gave the baby up. I am not sure what information you require to help me find his missing family, but I have access to as much detail as available from his adoptive parents. Chris is 5'7", weighs approximately 150 pounds and has light brown hair and eyes. His son looks just like him so I am assuming the male gene in the family is fairly dominate. There is no animosity for Chris, just unanswered questions and a sense of emptiness in his heart. He really wants to know the truth and meet his real mom. He was adopted by a loving family, yet he has never been able to bond appropriately with his adoptive mother, they always seemed to butt heads. He has this unsettling feeling inside of him that requires an answer to who his blood family is. He grew up an only child and rumor has it that his birth mother has had more children since his birth and longs for the comfort of having and wanting to get to know his siblings.
