Was trying to write a poem and heard this more as a song. Seen a lot of ugly lately and just thought I would release with a poem. I don't keep a journal to write thoughts.....I do this instead. Thanks for reading those of you who do.
Sense of Peace
There is no rule for what you gain,
To cause another needless pain,
Your life doesn’t profit one more day,
These are not words of power to say,
Who wants darkness? Who wants fear?
Who wants intimidation in their ear?
A voice that touches human lives,
Brings a smile that fires the eyes,
Let our hearts burn,
Let our love turn,
Let our every release,
Bring to another,
Bring to each other,
A joyful sense of peace,
See another being shoved,
Tap into the strength of love,
Step out and be the first,
Let the love grow with a thirst,
Lend a helping hand,
Reaching out across this land,
Bring a light where there was fear,
End the intimidation in their ear,
Let our hearts burn,
Let our love turn,
Let our every release,
Bring to another,
Bring to each other,
A joyful sense of peace,
