Friday morning I sat at the computer and drank a cup of coffee. I left the half empty cup on the desk and that was the last time I sat at the computer or that anyone was at the desk (in the dining room). Last night I did walk through the dining room before bed and kicked something across the room, but it was dark and I didn't stop to see what it was.
This morning I come into the dining room and sit down at the desk and see that the cup is still sitting here, but the handle has been broken off. Not a drop has been spilled. I find the handle on the floor about a foot from the desk, I'm pretty sure that's what I kicked last night that slid across the floor. Thing is, the handle would have been on the other side of the room when I kicked it, well away from the desk. Not a drop of coffee had been spilled and the mug was still sitting in front of a pen holder and a wireless speaker.
I have no idea how the cup could have been broken, nothing spilled, and the handle tossed across the room the way it was. Any ideas?
