Blackheart Sweet Lies Rollerball Fragrance .:PatchouliMoonsong:.

It's that time again for another fragrance review! :D

I normally don't like skulls, nor do I like rollerballs, but I bought this to add to my total so I could qualify for use of a coupon. I did some quick research before I bought it and reviews seemed good enough, so I went for it. I have to admit, though, I love the rainbow ombre of the bottle and I think the heart-shaped eye sockets are cute.

It does have a nice smell to it. I can't identify exactly what's in it, but the scent is very clean and sweet without being cloying. Youthful, I'd even say. Not elementary school kind of youthful; more like late high school/college youthful. As weird as this might sound, but I can imagine someone rebellious smelling like this. Fitting, as this came from Hot Topic. For a mere $5.00 fragrance from Hot Topic, I didn't expect it to smell as unoffending as it does.

And let me tell you, it's got great lasting power. I expected it to fade after at least an hour, but it's still going strong.

Would I buy this again? Honestly, no. Don't get me wrong. This smells good, but this isn't the kind of fragrance I want to smell like. It feels...wrong, like wearing a dress style you hate even though it's in a color you like. Does this make any sense? :O

But I do recommend sampling it and if you like it, it's no big chunk out of your wallet. :)

I love to sample the fragrances they have and see how long they last or how they smell after 30 or 60 minutes of browsing in the store. I have been surprised at how some fade before you even get out of the store. Not a good selling point for their company if it can't last a few minutes.
