More strangeness in this house we live in. Last Friday, Aug. 29th, I still had a very long winter scarf downstairs. I decided to wash it and put it away. I use those mesh bags with a zipper to wash scarves in. I put the clothes in the washer, then tossed the (zippered) bag in and turned the (front loader) washer on. I did a few things and went to put the clothes and scarf into the dryer. When I opened the door, I noticed that the scarf was spread out across the width of the dryer, almost as if it had been arranged. I pulled it out and laid it on top, then started putting everything else in the dryer. I found the white mesh bag, and it was still zipped, and I double checked for any tears or holes in the !bag. There were none. I quickly finshed loading the dryer and got out of there. What happened is totally IMPOSSIBLE. How did the scarf get out of the bag? There is no explanation for this. It still freaks me out to think about it. Then, today, Sept. 4th, I had put a load of wash in, then I had to use the bathroom about 20 min. later. Our downstairs bathroom is a large room, and the washer and dryer are in there too. The toilet is directly across from the washer. The washer was running as usual when I walked in. I was sitting there looking at the washer (it has about 20 green lights on the front), when it just went off. I finished up and went to check it out. It was still plugged in and everything looked fine. I pushed the start button and the cycle restarted. It has never done that before. Nothing else in the house was off. Because of the first creepy incident, I thought it was strange that it went off as I was looking directly at it.
