La Vida Loca Gift Set .:PatchouliMoonsong:.

Hello, USMers! It's that time again for a fragrance review!

Today's item is a gift set of La Vida Loca, an impression of Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy by the same company from my last review, Preferred Fragrance. The gift set includes shower gel, body lotion, and a bottle of the fragrance. I'm quite happy because I have smelled Viva La Juicy, so I can confirm whether or not this fragrance is a good impression or not.

Well...it's not.

Let's start out with the perfume. It really doesn't smell anything like Viva La Juicy. There's a small hint of that Viva La Juicy fragrance, but it's mostly kind of like a generic perfume smell. It smells good, though, very fresh and strong, but not in a negative way.

I haven't smelled the Viva La Juicy shower gel or lotion. However, I do own the Noir Tease lotion and shower gel. The Noir Tease perfume smells 100% like Viva La Juicy, so I will assume the Viva La Juicy shower gel and lotion smell exactly the same as Noir Tease's and base my comparison on those.

The La Vida Loca lotion smells NOTHING like Noir Tease. Again, it has that generic lotion smell with just a hint of fragrance. Not an offending scent, just nothing like what it's trying to knock off. The same goes for the shower gel.

I have to hand it to the La Vida Loca perfume, though. The scent lasts a long time; remarkable for something that's only a few bucks.

If you're looking for a dupe of Viva La Juicy, this isn't it. But if you're curious, I recommend you try it for yourself. It's not a bad smell and it's quite cheap. And I have to admit, the packaging is very cute. :)
