There is something known as "switch tv " and you would be surprised what some of your fellow Americans are doing . The U. S. government wants to move us to a police state , but we won't let them . Make sure you know what the government's true intentions are . You are giving up waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to many of your rights . Practice civil disobedience . I do .  |

lol @ NaniLady! I have one of those "Old-timer" TV's not the new latest HD....I have a built-in webcam on my laptop but it's never used unless I'm bored, then, I turn it on & highlight the "thingie---doodle" & it displays, witches hats, party hats & other hats over my head....lol guess You could say this Bluebirdie wears many hats around here....The govt. probably already does but You should see my "Fishin hat" when I mow the lawn...lol  T/C  |

Blue, I would love to see the many hats you wear. That would be awesome! LOL! My TV doesn't have a camera lens, so it doesn't take pics. I'm not sure how the government, or anyone else, can see what I'm doing...and if they are monitoring what we watch in this household, well, outside of a few spiritual leaders like Joyce Meyers Joel Osteen, what they'll see is CIS dramas, classic movies, Sci Fi and the History channel, plus the News. I'm sure the g-men are pretty bored.  |

When I heard about the webcam peepers I covered up mine! For tv, I don't have those fancy flat screen tvs, but the old big tvs so I don't think they'd be able to see through mine! It's mighty pathetic how this is how we all have to live. Fear of the government invading our privacy! I say kick them all out of the country because it's getting WAY out of hand.  |

I've heard of this years ago through a dream someone had. The idea at the time was really creepy... but now I'm not surprised. Anyway, I'm sure that they can listen in as well. Covering your tv might not do good if you have a private (or embarassing) conversation going. They can listen in even when it's not on. Just unplug the tv or don't have "questionable" convos they might not like. Just assume they are always watching or listen and cover your butt. Hahaha.  |

Laptops are never private either... I always have my webcam covered. Someone can hack in and watch... and the light won't even come on. No one needs to see me filling my face like a total savage... LOL! |

May add on to this story, I saw on a youtube video that they are also micro chipping children's toys with spyware too. Another story from a year or two ago goes a man hacking a baby monitor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdG_BDWjLmg Now keep an open mind about all of this cause like you said, It is a proven fact that hackers have been able to take over webcams. How are random people able to hack? That's quit simple, the devices are already Designed and set up to do so. The Government is not only spying on us through TV's they are doing it on all technologic devices. |

I forgot to post this important update . Several television manufacturers admitted to audio recording conversations being held in the home to know what commercials to target the people in the household with . I am pretty sure they are doing more than this . I know what the government is doing . I demand that the government let me and everyone else let us exercise our freewill . By them not allowing this they will have grave consequences . Karma will straighten them out . The universe will not let this continue to go on . |
