Kitty Girl Perfume & Lotion Set .:PatchouliMoonsong:.

It's that time again, USM! Fragrance reviews! :D

Today's item in question is the Kitty Girl perfume and lotion set. First off, the company that produces this fragrance is called Preferred Fragrance and they make their own impressions of high-end, celebrity perfumes. Kitty Girl is a knock off of Katy Perry's Purr.

I haven't smelled the original Purr fragrance myself, but I've seen a lot of reviews that say this is a perfect impression of the fragrance. The rollerball perfume in this set really isn't anything unique. It's not a bad smell. It's a nice peachy type of scent, but the issue is that its fragrance is...generic. If you've smelled a ton of perfumes, you'll know what I mean when I say generic.

The lotion shares the same peachy smell as the perfume, which is good because I hate when the lotion - even though it's the same fragrance - does not smell at all related to the perfume.

On Amazon, this costs about $15, shipping included, and considering how small the lotion is, I wouldn't say it's worth the money, especially considering it smells like generic perfume. The bigger sets I believe are the same price, oddly enough, and you can probably find it elsewhere cheaper, so if you ever get the chance to sample this fragrance and you like it, the bigger sizes shouldn't cost you an arm and a leg.

Although the perfume doesn't bring anything new to the table, I would recommend you try it, especially if you're a fan of Purr.

Date: 7/20/2014 10:48:00 AM  From Authorid: 64365    I don't like knock-off's at all. In my opinion, they never really smell like the actual product, note to note, and they don't last. Thanks for the review, though. I'm going to look at Purr, and see what it's all about.

Nani - I understand. I feel the same way. I haven't smelled too many knock offs, but unless I've smelled both the original and the impression, I assume the knock off smells nothing like the real deal.

Date: 7/21/2014 2:39:00 AM  From Authorid: 998    I only consider the 'impression' perfumes if I can try on a sample and live with it for 30 minutes to 1 hour. If I like it after letting it settle in to my skin, then it would be a good purchase. So many knock-off's might have a good fragrance, but not all that close to the original. Although, I rarely have seen any lotions that have much resemblance to the perfume. Thanks for the review. Keep 'em coming!!!
